Cain Habano
The Cain Habano is a cigar that is definitely not for the faint of heart. They are Nicaraguan puros introduced in 2009 and made for and sold by the infamous Oliva Cigar Company. Rich and spicy Nicaraguan Habano wrappers hold together a mind-blowing combination of robust Nicaraguan binder and filler leaves, including triple-fermented ligero leaves from Esteli, Jalapa, and Condega. Blender Sam Leccia, who also introduced Nub cigars, was careful to use 82% ligero—rather than 100%--to ensure proper combustion and burn.
