  • All orders from first-time customers MUST ship to the billing address on file with your banking institution.
  • We do NOT ship products to Hawaii, Utah, or South Dakota.

How much is shipping?

Please use our Shopping Cart Shipping Calculator to determine the estimated shipping costs for the products you wish to order. Our USPS Priority Mail rates start at just $10.00 for one box shipping anywhere in the United States.

We try to make our pricing and shipping costs as straightforward as possible before asking customers to create an account or log in. Add the items you'd like to purchase into the shopping cart and enter your postal zip code into the Shipping Cost Calculator, then click on Calculate Shipping & Tax. Once the page refreshes, the drop-down menu will display all of the shipping options available to you.

When will my domestic order ship?

At Cigar Place, all domestic orders placed Monday through Friday before 1:00 PM EST ship the same day. All orders placed after 1:00 PM EST Monday through Friday ship the next business day. All orders placed between 1:01 PM EST Friday and 11:59 AM EST Monday will ship on Monday, depending on order volume. We operate on a 24-Hour Turnaround (Business Hour) schedule. In the case of unusually high shipping days (1st of the Month $1 Shipping, Early Bird Shipping, long weekend holidays) it is our goal to ship all orders within 24 hours, but we do reserve the right to ship some orders on the 2nd business day. If your order is going to be delayed for any reason on a day other than a shipping promotion day, you will receive an e-mail and phone call from us to let you know and asking how you'd like to proceed.

Does offer Free Shipping on orders over $X?

We currently offer Free Shipping on orders over $200. We also offer two regular shipping promotions, our First of the Month $1 Shipping and Early Bird Special promotions. All Free or $1 Shipping promotions are only available on orders shipping withing the USA. 


Which shipping carriers does use?

We ship all orders via UPS or the United States Postal Service. Our Free Shipping default is USPS Ground Advantage, save for very heavy or high-cost orders. No slow Parcel Post or UPS SurePost with us. It is our goal to get your packages to you quickly and efficiently.


Are there any exclusions to your Free Shipping offers?

Our First of the Month $1 Shipping and Early Bird Shipping Special promotions exclude humidors. We apologize for the exclusion, but unfortunately, we cannot ship these orders for free. We still offer USPS Priority Mail shipping on all humidor orders for the flat amount of $10.00. 


Does UPS deliver on Saturday or Sunday?

UPS does not usually deliver packages over the weekend. There are some expedited services offered by UPS with a Saturday delivery option with costs that start somewhere in the $90-$100 range for 1-2 boxes of cigars. Please note that this service is NOT available in all areas.

Although this is not an option that we offer on our website during regular check-out, if you must have your cigars delivered on a Saturday guaranteed, please CALL US at 1-800-913-0433 to see if this option is available to you.


Do you require a signature (adult) upon delivery?

Here at Cigar Place, we want to make sure that you receive the items you have ordered from us. As such, we send out ALL of our customer's packages with a tracking number. However, only on high dollar value orders, large packages (i.e., humidors) and limited quantity items do we ask that a signature is required upon delivery.

Whenever possible, we will contact you after your order has been placed, but before it has shipped, to let our customers know that a signature will be required upon delivery. 


How do you package your singles and bundles for shipment?

All of our single cigars are packaged in zip-lock bags with a "Water Pillow" humidification device. Regarding cigar bundles, if the cigars inside the bundle are not individually packaged in cellophane, we put the bundle into a large zip-lock bag with a "Water Pillow" humidification device. If the cigars are individually packed in cellophane, there isn't much we can do, as the cellophane doesn't allow for much humidity transfer in either direction. You may always request that we package the cigars in a zip-lock bag with a "Water-Pillow" humidification device by asking us to do so in the Special Instructions text box during check-out.


Do you ship to addresses other than the billing address, such as hotels, vacation homes, resorts, etc.?

Absolutely, we do. With enough notice (usually a few days, depending on items), we can make sure that you receive your cigars in a timely fashion to your hotel, vacation home, etc.

However, if this is your first order with us, our credit card processing company may require us to verify the card being used to place your order. This is especially true in situations involving international and some domestic credit cards where the order is shipping to an address other than the billing address.


Does UPS deliver to USPS P.O. boxes?

Generally speaking, no, UPS does not deliver to post office boxes using the shipping methods that we choose to use for your orders. There is a cheaper and much slower method than UPS Ground that some of our competitors use as a workaround to this issue. We prefer not to have your cigars out in transit this long. 

Therefore we ask that you please provide us with a street address for UPS delivery when you choose UPS Ground as your shipping option.

If you do not provide us with a physical address and you have chosen UPS Ground as your shipping option, we will attempt to contact you for such an address and hold the order in the warehouse until we receive a street address from you.


Do you ship to APO/FPO addresses?

Of course, we are honored to serve those that serve. Yes, we ship to APO/FPO addresses via USPS Priority Mail service. Please make sure that when you enter your shipping address, you choose the United States as your country, regardless of which country you are stationed in when using an APO/FPO address. 

We also offer Free Shipping to all APO/FPO addresses.
