How much is shipping?

Please use our Shopping Cart Shipping Calculator to determine the estimated shipping costs for the products you wish to order. Our USPS Priority Mail rates start at $10.00 for shipping anywhere in the United States.

We try to make our pricing and shipping costs as clear as possible before asking customers to create an account or log in. Add the items you'd like to purchase into the shopping cart and enter your postal zip code into the Shipping Cost Calculator, then click on Calculate Shipping & Tax. Once the page refreshes, the drop-down menu will display all of the shipping options available to you.

When will my domestic order ship?

At Cigar Place, all domestic orders placed Monday through Friday before 1:00 PM EST ship the same day. All orders placed after 1:00 PM EST Monday through Friday ship the next business day. All orders placed between 1:01 PM EST Friday and 11:59 AM EST Monday will ship on Monday, depending on order volume.

In the case of unusually high shipping days (1st of the Month $1 Shipping, Early Bird Shipping, long weekend holidays), it is our goal to ship all orders within 24 hours, but we do reserve the right to ship some orders on the 2nd business day. If your order is going to be delayed for any reason on a day other than a shipping promotion day, you will receive an e-mail and/or phone call from us to let you know and asking how you'd like to proceed.


Does offer Free Shipping on orders over $X?

We currently offer Free Shipping on all orders over $200. We also offer two other additional regular shipping promotions, our First of the Month $1 Shipping and Early Bird Special promotions. Please note, all Free & $1 Shipping promotions are only valid on orders shipping within the USA. 


Which shipping carriers does use?

We ship all orders via the United States Postal Service or UPS. Our Free Shipping default is USPS Ground Advantage, save for very heavy or high-cost orders, which will ship via UPS Ground. This adjustment is at our discretion. 

How much do my cigars weigh?

We include the product weight in the Additional Information section found on each cigar. It is important to note that weights for "Boxes" of cigars do also include the weight of the cigar box. For net tobacco weight, we recommend checking the single cigar's noted weight & multiplying it by the number of sticks included in a box. 


Signature Requirement

For orders of high dollar value, we do ask that a signature confirmation is required upon delivery for the safety and security of your package. You will be contacted via an email notification immediately after your order is placed to approve or waive the signature requirement.

Whether the postal carrier will leave the package at your door is up to the discretion of the delivery driver. If they feel the area is unsafe, they may decide to leave a pickup notice instead, even if the signature requirement is waived.

We must include a signature for delivery to all orders shipping to hotels. 


What if no one is home to sign for my package delivery?

In most cases, the postal carrier will leave a notice for you indicating the missed delivery and the next steps to take. For USPS, you should be able to pick up your package at the nearest Post Office. For shipment updates, you can sign up for USPS Informed Delivery by CLICKING HERE

For UPS, they will usually attempt to deliver the package on the following business day. You may also be able to collect your package from a UPS Access Point or Depot, depending on your location. For shipment updates, you can sign up for My UPS by CLICKING HERE

Orders shipping to hotels can be received and signed for by hotel front desk staff. 


What payment options do you accept?

We accept the following forms of payment:

  • Visa, MasterCard, American Express, and Discover(see site security below for details)
  • PayPal
  • Money orders, Certified checks (cashiers check), personal checks, and company checks. Orders paid with money orders and certified checks will be processed upon receipt; orders paid with personal checks or company checks will be held until bank clearance(5 business days). Domestic Shipping FAQ's

  • Our domestic shipping partners are UPS and US Postal Service.
  • USPS Priority Mail flat rate shipping anywhere in the United States is $10.00
  • Domestic orders placed before 1:00 PM EST Monday through Friday ship on the same day. Orders placed after 1:00 PM EST ship on the next business day.
  • UPS does not operate or deliver on the weekends.
  • Orders shipping to P.O. Boxes MUST be shipped via USPS methods.
  • does not require a signature on most orders. If we request Signature Confirmation, we will contact you before your order ships for approval.
  • All orders from first-time customers MUST ship to the billing address on file with your banking institution.
  • We do NOT ship products to Hawaii, Utah or South Dakota

International Shipping FAQ's

  • ALL International sales are FINAL! If a package is lost, damaged, or seized by customs, the customer assumes all responsibility.
  • Our international shipping partner is the US Postal Service.
  • We offer 3 classes of international mail service to meet your shipping needs.
  • International orders ship on the 2nd or 3rd business day after your order is placed.
  • Shipping rates are set by the US Postal Service and are based on shipping class, weight, and destination country.
  • USPS First Class Mail International offers only Proof of Shipment and not package tracking. If you need package tracking, please choose USPS Priority Mail or USPS Priority Mail Express shipping.
  • International orders are declared correctly as their true contents and purchase value.
  • Packages that are returned to us due to refusal to pay customs duties owed are subject to a Restocking Fee of 20% of the order value if a refund is requested. Items are only eligible for a refund if they return in good condition.
  • Some orders may be subject to credit card verification before shipping. 
  • We have no control over currency exchange rate changes during order processing or shipments. Refunds are processed for the value paid in USD at the time of purchase. We cannot offer additional compensation due to changes in currency value or additional bank fees.
