LEAF by Oscar Connecticut Toro Cigars
LEAF by Oscar Connecticut Toro cigars were once a rare gem, dreamed up by ‘Island Jim’ for his Pennsylvania shop and perfected by Oscar Valladares. Their limited release quickly earned a loyal following, prompting expanded production in Valladares’ Honduran factory. Of the four LEAF blends, the Connecticut version is especially unique—a Honduran Puro wrapped in a smooth shade leaf, making it a standout in the world of Connecticut cigars.
Experiencing a 6" x 52 Connecticut Toro is a ritual in itself. Removing the outer leaf reveals a crisp aroma and flawless construction. The cold draw teases with earthy tones and fresh hay, while lighting is effortless. The smoke unfolds with creamy cedar flavors, rounded by subtle black pepper and bright citrus notes that emerge for attentive smokers.
Stronger than your typical Connecticut, yet still approachable, this toro is perfect for pairing with a morning coffee or unwinding later with a gin and tonic. Its balanced profile and superior craftsmanship make it a must-try. Act fast—these small-batch smokes are highly sought-after and won’t last long.
