LEAF by Oscar Connecticut Lancero Cigars
LEAF by Oscar Connecticut Lancero cigars are exquisite treats that were once nearly impossible to find. Conceived by ‘Island Jim’ for his Pennsylvania cigar shop and brought to life by master blender Oscar Valladares, these small-batch Honduran smokes quickly developed a devoted following that demanded a wider release. Valladares responded by expanding production at his boutique factory, allowing enthusiasts everywhere to experience the hype firsthand. Of the four LEAF blends available, the Connecticut stands out as especially unique, being a rare Honduran Puro wrapped in a smooth shade leaf.
Unwrapping the 7" x 38 LEAF by Oscar Connecticut Lancero is a ritual in itself. Take a moment to appreciate the crisp aroma and flawless construction as the stick comes into view. The cold draw offers mild earthy notes and hints of fresh hay, and lighting it is effortless, producing an even burn. Cream and cedar form the backbone of the flavor profile, complemented by subtle black pepper and occasional bright flashes of citrus that reward patient smokers.
While slightly stronger than many other Connecticut-wrapped cigars, the lancero remains approachable for novices, making it perfect for all experience levels. Ideal as a morning companion alongside a cup of coffee before the day begins, it’s equally enjoyable relaxing on the deck with a gin and tonic. These coveted cigars move quickly, so grab a bundle while supplies last—or risk waiting until the next batch arrives.
