La Aroma De Cuba Reserva Beso Cigars
From the master blenders who defined the modern Nicaraguan profile—Pepin Garcia and his son Jaime—comes the La Aroma de Cuba Reserva Beso. Crafted at the prestigious My Father factory in Estelí, this blend represents a pinnacle of the brand's evolution. Its reputation is undeniable, having earned a stellar 94-rating and a spot among the Top 25 Cigars of the Year from Cigar Aficionado. The secret to this masterpiece lies in its exquisite Mexican San Andrés Oscuro wrapper, which enshrouds a potent yet refined core of the Garcias' finest aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos.
The 5 5/8" x 48 Robusto Extra is a traditional box-pressed vitola, draped in a deep, chocolatey-brown leaf that is as oily as it is beautiful. While the signature "Pepin spice" is present from the first light, it is never overpowering. Instead, the profile develops into a sophisticated symphony of dark cocoa, cedar, and earth, balanced by a subtle, natural sweetness on the lips. The construction is world-class, often producing a sturdy, white ash that holds firm until the final third—a testament to the expert artistry in Estelí.
With its bold, peppery core and smooth, lingering finish, the Reserva Beso is a mandatory experience for lovers of full-bodied Nicaraguan cigars. Its robust character makes it a perfect companion for a hearty meal like smoked brisket or a high-gravity IPA. If you appreciate the heritage of the original La Aroma de Cuba or the intensity of My Father cigars, the Reserva Beso offers an elevated, ultra-premium experience that stands as a benchmark for the entire industry.
