Herrera Esteli Habano Piramide Fino Pack of 5 Cigars - Selected by Cigar Aficionado 2013 #8 Cigar Of The Year – Rated 94
When Drew Estate introduced the Herrera Estelí Habano line, it marked the beginning of a new era for the company. The Piramide Fino vitola is part of that history, a cigar that not only follows legendary blends like Liga Privada and MUWAT, but also showcases the debut work of Willy Herrera, whose Cuban heritage shaped the blend. Given full freedom in Nicaragua, Jonathan Drew challenged Herrera to craft something extraordinary. After a year of blending trials, the result was the now-famous Herrera Estelí Habano, which would go on to gain immediate acclaim and carve out its own place among the greats.
In 2013, the Piramide Fino was awarded an outstanding 94 rating and ranked #8 on Cigar Aficionado’s prestigious Top 25 Cigars of the Year list.
The blend is built from the ground up with Nicaraguan fillers, a Honduran binder, and an elegant Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that completes its Cuban-inspired personality. Rolled into a 6” x 52 pyramid, the Piramide Fino concentrates its flavors beautifully, delivering rich notes of cedar, spice, pepper, and earthy tobacco. Medium-to-full-bodied, it is both refined and complex, delivering depth without overwhelming the palate. Its firm pack, seamless construction, and smooth draw ensure a flawless smoking experience every time.
True to Drew Estate’s reputation for artistry, the Piramide Fino is a cigar meant for experienced palates seeking balance, strength, and sophistication. It pairs effortlessly with bourbon or scotch and draws frequent comparison to iconic Cuban throwbacks such as Don Pepin Blue Label and Padron. For collectors and connoisseurs, the Herrera Estelí Habano Piramide Fino is not just a cigar, but a piece of modern cigar history—one that belongs in every serious humidor.
