Dominican Toro Cigar Sampler Includes:

1 x Montecristo White Toro (6" x 54, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). This is an epic cigar; you'll find a flawless Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapped like a warm blanket atop a Nicaraguan binder that expertly contains the premium Dominican and Nicaraguan longleaf filler at the core. A taste of roasted peanut hits the tongue just prior to a flame being applied to the foot, then the lighting puffs bloom with oak and malted milk chocolate. As the burn slowly matures and the sweet spot is consumed, a burst of spice tempered by vanilla cream brings the strength and body to a succulent medium. Steady throughout even while bringing out the robust flavors of espresso, buttered rye toast, and raw honey, this is a cigar to be enjoyed by everyone at any time.

1x Casa de Garcia Connecticut Toro (5 1/2” x 50, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). Golden brown and delicious, this mild-medium stogie is a palate-refreshing delight, ready to kickstart your day or get you prepped for an evening cookout, even if you’re the cook. Earthy, with the flavors of fresh-cut hay, toasted almonds, and café con leche, this cigar is a steadfast smoking companion no matter the moment.

1 x Romeo Y Julieta Reserva Real Toro (6" x 54, ●●●○○ Medium). This is a softer, milder, and creamier version of the classic Romeo Y Julieta we have come to know and love. Deviation from the original tried-and-true recipe, this cigar introduces a hint of Nicaraguan tobacco into the filler and adds more flavor with a Nicaraguan binder. The shining moment with it is the silky, light brown Connecticut-shade Ecuadorian wrapper. Voluminous puffs of smoke seem to occur almost instantaneously with lighting. This stick is certainly not lacking in flavor. The burn could not be better, and the draw is smooth and easy all the way to the nub. The only thing we found we wanted was more.

1 x Romeo Y Julieta 1875 Gran Toro (6" x 54, ●●●○○ Medium). This cigar is a shining example that experience, skill, and hard work can produce extraordinary results. Here, quality longleaf Dominican filler and binder merge with a glistening Indonesian wrapper to create a medium-bodied smoke full of refined taste and historic character. Alight, a wealth of earthy, leathery, and toasted almond flavors bursts onto the palate on waves of heavy smoke, with bright hints of citrus and nutmeg serving as a refresher for the next deep puff. Through the nose, a floral burst is noticeable even as the tongue delights in some sweet vanilla cream and coffee that linger long into the nub.

1 x Montecristo Classic Toro (6" x 52, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). For this blend, Dominican filler and binder tobaccos are embraced within one of the highest grade Connecticut Shade wrappers ever harvested. This simple recipe may not sound too exciting, but trust us when we say this 91-rated gem has been known to satisfy even the most ravenous connoisseurs. Seamless rolling and expert craftsmanship yield a solid smoking experience every time, including a productive, smooth draw and a razor-sharp burn. The experience starts off with a definitive spicy pepper note. This soon settles down into a luxurious journey of earthy tobacco and sweet floral notes, spiked here and there with hints of brown sugar and cayenne. Strength-wise, Montecristo Classic is just shy of medium-bodied.

1 x Casa de Garcia Maduro Toro (5 1/2” x 50, ●●●○○ Medium). A supremely tasty and affordable handmade, this is a must-try for any Maduro aficionado. Medium in strength, you should expect a mouthful of dark chocolate, cherry-wood, molasses, and mesquite with every relaxing puff. Pairs well with a strong drink, whether coffee or red wine or whiskey.

1x Casa de Garcia Sumatra Toro (5 1/2” x 50, ●●●○○ Medium). Sweet, savory, and spicy notes abound with this Sumatra-wrapped beauty. Every inch of this slow burning vitola is a journey, where charred oak and espresso merge with rye bread, nutmeg, vanilla cream, and black currant to form thick, rich clouds of complex and tasty smoke.

1 x Montecristo Platinum Toro (6" x 50, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This cigar is crafted for experienced palates, those able to withstand the veritable mosaic of full-bodied flavors supplied by a rare Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Peruvian long-filler tucked firmly into a gorgeous and chocolatey Mexican San Andres wrapper. The profile is creamy and vibrant from the start, with bittersweet cocoa and hickory wood balanced by a marshmallow-like softness. As you are slowly lulled into contemplative relaxation, the flavors of sweet yet robust Turkish coffee, leather, crisp pear, salted almonds, and earthy cinnamon arrive to keep you fully engaged until the nub becomes too small to hold.

1 x H. Upmann 1844 Reserve Toro (6" x 54, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This is their core line and consists of a Dominican filler blend, a binder from Nicaragua, and a jaw dropping Habano wrapper from Ecuador. This is the classic cigar flavor profile that every cigar fanatic, young or old, should be required to try at least once. Opens with a solid central flavor of earthy raw tobacco. There is white pepper both on the inhale and the finish and a vast array of creamy, nutty flavors in-between. A constant aroma of cedar lingers in the background throughout the smoke, making this classic a true replica of the Cubans of old.

1 x Romeo y Julieta 1875 Reserve Maduro Toro (6" x 50, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). The flavorful blend of these cigars contains aged Dominican, Nicaraguan and spiced Peruvian fillers, a Nicaraguan ligero binder, topped with a dark, rich, and oily Connecticut broadleaf wrapper. The result of this masterful blend is a complex, robust, cigar that’s loaded with flavor. Once lit, this cigar produces plentiful smoke, with hints of dark-roasted coffee, nuts, cedar, and leather, all balanced with an earthy undertone. It provides a plethoric and indulgent smoking experience that's unique to this deep, dark maduro which makes it stand out in the Romeo y Julieta 1875 line of cigars.
