Diamond Crown Robusto #5 Cigars
The Diamond Crown Robusto #5 cigar is truly a rare gem, reigning as a king among mild to medium ultra-premium smokes. It proudly claims its place on the throne as a worthy heir to two esteemed cigar-making legacies. Handcrafted by Tabacalera A. Fuente to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the J.C. Newman Cigar Company, this exceptional cigar features Dominican tobaccos wrapped in an exclusive Connecticut fermented wrapper, making it an outstanding choice for any aficionado.
A hefty ring gauge, all size 54 with one larger exception, allows the entire Diamond Crown line to provide maximum leaf-packed flavor. When first pulled from its protective cellophane, the color and aroma of the cigar gives the impression of a light Corojo wrapper. But this is because the Connecticut wrapper has been double-fermented for a more robust character. Any thoughts of spiciness or harshness are banished once the 4 1/2" x 54 cigar is lit, offering mouthfuls of creamy smoke tinged with mace and buttered toast. Midway, the flavors shift to the East with wafting almonds and hints of exotic spices, and your loyalty will be rewarded as the end of the cigar is flush with cream and nutmeg.
Paired with a gin and tonic, any smoker can imagine themselves sitting on a palace balcony enjoying the finer things in life. Expensive when first released, the Diamond Crown's price has remained steady and is now comparable to similar cigars such as Ashton Classic and Zino Platinum Scepter. Try on the Crown. Enjoy the majesty.
