Destined to become a modern classic, the Montecristo Crafted by AJ Fernandez cigar is more than worthy of the famous name it carries. And it's a Montecristo too! Seriously, though, Fernandez gives the distinguished and near-century old front mark the respect it deserves by providing a richly complex taste balanced for all types of aficionados. But AJ was not looking to mimic the past or tread the same path as his forebears, so this is a box-pressed Montecristo rolled in Nicaragua containing a wealth of Nicaraguan and Honduran filler and finished with a Mexican San Andres binder and Ecuadoran Sumatra Oscuro wrapper. Never saw that coming, did you?
