Viva La Vida Connecticut Robusto Cigars
Viva La Vida by Artesano Del Tobacco has taken off since its debut, and the rave reviews never seem to stop coming. It’s no surprise, therefore, that AJ Fernandez and his team went forward with yet another incredible addition to the Viva La Vida family: Viva La Vida Connecticut Robusto. Rolled by the skilled hands at the world-renowned Tabacalera AJ Fernandez Cigars, S.A. in Nicaragua, Viva La Vida Connecticut uses a hearty filler and binder blend of all-Nicaraguan tobacco from the Fernandez family farms. The wrapper is a golden-brown Connecticut seed leaf grown under cloudy shade in the volcanic soils of Ecuador, making this one just a bit lighter, but still flavorful enough to already have the cigar world going nuts.
White and black boxes stash the precision-built stogies, each one wearing an elaborate pair of bands embossed with intricate artwork. Construction-wise, there is little to be desired. In typical AJ fashion, each stick offers maximum performance, which means billowing clouds of dense smoke from every puff. Creamy cedar and raw tobacco open things up, and are soon joined by notes of cinnamon, toast, and cayenne. A spicy core of heavily spiced earthy flavor holds the package together, and the finish is toasty and peppery. Not your typical Connecticut cigar, Viva La Vida Connecticut finishes as a flavorful medium strength cigar. The 5" x 52 Robusto provides exceptional balance, delivering maximum richness and a substantial smoking session in a classic format.
Appropriate for smokers of all experience levels, Viva La Vida Connecticut offers a satisfying medium strength smoking experience that combines complexity with balance in such an amazing manner. It pairs well with your favorite scotch or medium-bodied beer, but also beautifully accompanies a hot cup of coffee. Fans of the original Viva La Vida should be sure to try this one for a change of pace, though we assure you, it’s by no means just another boring Connecticut stick. “Viva La Vida” means “Live The Life,” and we urge you to do so, especially when it comes to premium cigars. That being said, live your best cigar life with Viva La Vida Connecticut Robusto, and experience a Connecticut cigar that takes flavor to entirely new levels.
