So, in response to the demand, this all-Aganorsa leaf Nicaraguan puro is now available worldwide.
Enveloped in an oily and toothy Criollo ’98 wrapper, the Viaje Exclusivo reeks of chocolate and yeasty bread. This pigtailed 5 5/8” x 54 vitola sits heavy in the hand and is decorated by a tobacco leaf-embossed white, silver, and black band plus a silver foot band of simple elegance. A draw test before lighting reveals some spice and crisp cedar, while the first clouds of smoke after applying a flame carry leathery tobacco, earth, and gingerbread. Cocoa and cream get summoned into the mix during the second third, with bright citrus notes in the retrohale. A variety of spices flow in and out from the midway point on, including black and red pepper, cinnamon, and nutmeg. The finale is cool and lingering, the gray and black ash still hanging on tight.
