The Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Robusto Cigars
With a name as commanding as its flavor, the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Robusto is a medium-full-bodied marvel of craftsmanship. Created by Nicholas Melillo, the visionary behind Foundation Cigar Company and acclaimed blends like the 93-rated Charter Oak and 95-rated El Güegüense, this cigar may be his most ambitious yet. Refusing to rely on standard Connecticut Broadleaf, Melillo developed a proprietary Havana/Connecticut hybrid wrapper to encase a bold mix of Nicaraguan and Honduran longleaf fillers bound with a robust Mexican San Andrés leaf.
Rated 90 by Cigar Aficionado, the 142 robusto is celebrated for its flawless construction, balanced complexity, and luxurious flavor profile. Its three-year-aged wrapper gleams dark and oily, providing both visual appeal and rich depth before the first draw.
Upon lighting, a chocolate-forward core emerges, giving way to layers of walnut, rye toast, earth, and sweet buttercream. Smooth yet complex, the 5” x 50 robusto offers a satisfying evolution of flavors from start to finish.
Presented in cabinet-style boxes of 24 cigars, the Tabernacle Havana Seed CT No. 142 Robusto combines elegance, craftsmanship, and exceptional value—truly a cigar for the discerning aficionado.
