Room 101 Serie HN 305 Cigars
Aw yeah, Room 101 cigars just keep spinning hits and rocking the house, and their new HN is no exception. People in the know have been raving about Room 101 cigars ever since their debut, each special blend an epic event crafted in Honduras at Camacho's factory. But there's more than just flash in this stogie. Even the name plays it straight; 'H' stands for the Honduran Criollo ligero that mingles with Dominican tobacco from a region called Navarette, hence the 'N'. A Brazilian Mata Fina binder pumps up the volume while a wrapper of pure Criollo 98 completes the scene.
Camacho is known for their legendary commitment to quality, and this extends to the brands they produce for other portfolios including Room 101. Burning steady and slow, an aflame HN 5" x 50 robusto starts out by releasing loads of cinnamon and clove spice, bringing down the tempo when the first third winds down to include black tea and vanilla. Sweet up front, more rugged flavors enter midway through like leather and rich black soil, while closer to the nub bold pepper and some bitter chocolate work it to the max.
You don't have to be a VIP to gain entrance to Room 101, but a limited number of boxes of the HN blend were created so if you don't want to be put on a waiting list while waiting out in the cold, you should make your move now. Medium-full and richly complex, when smoking one you may be reminded of a PDR 1878 Cubano Especial Capa Natural or even a My Father Limited Edition. Get ready to jam with friends and have some fun with the Room 101 HN!
