Selecting the choicest, ripest tobaccos from his own Esteli farms, Fernandez expertly ferments and ages them to delectable perfection. Red has been an integral part of Romeo y Julieta’s packing for so long it’s astonishing to see a bright blue and gold band decorating each uniformly russet-colored Reserva Real Nicaragua Robusto, but that’s only a small part of each stick’s charm.
