Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Gordo Pack of 5 Cigars (Includes Free Shipping)
Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Gordo cigars are the result of two powerhouse names joining forces to create something unmistakably bold. This collaboration blends the timeless legacy of Romeo y Julieta and Altadis USA with the contemporary expertise of master blender AJ Fernandez. Released in mid-2016 as part of the “remastered classics” series, this cigar followed the successful Hoyo de Monterrey Crafted by AJ Fernandez and quickly earned praise among enthusiasts.
Each cigar is handmade in Nicaragua at Tabacalera Fernandez using a carefully selected combination of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos grown on AJ Fernandez’s personal farms. These tobaccos were cultivated and harvested specifically for this blend, then finished with a rich Habana 2000 Maduro wrapper that delivers depth, strength, and refined character.
From the first light, the quality is undeniable. The Gordo produces thick clouds of smoke with a consistently smooth draw. It opens with a sweet spice that transitions into deep cocoa and mocha flavors. Earthy undertones remain steady throughout the smoke, while classic maduro notes blend seamlessly with bold Nicaraguan intensity. A lingering raisin sweetness on the finish ties everything together in a polished, satisfying close.
Medium-to-full-bodied and full of nuance, this cigar is ideal for seasoned smokers who appreciate complexity and balance. Its rich profile pairs exceptionally well with aged rum, fine scotch, or port wine. The 6" x 60 Gordo format delivers a cool, slow burn and an extended smoking experience perfect for relaxing evenings. Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Gordo stands as another impressive achievement from AJ Fernandez and a modern expression of a legendary cigar name.
