Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Churchill Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Churchill cigars represent the meeting of tradition and modern craftsmanship at its finest. This collaboration brings together the storied heritage of Romeo y Julieta and Altadis USA with the bold, contemporary blending style of AJ Fernandez, resulting in a cigar that feels both classic and unmistakably modern. Released in mid-2016 as part of the “remastered classics” series, this blend followed the successful Hoyo de Monterrey Crafted by AJ Fernandez and quickly earned its place in the spotlight.
Each Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Churchill is handmade in Nicaragua at Tabacalera Fernandez. The blend features an impressive selection of Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos grown on AJ Fernandez’s own farms, chosen and harvested specifically for this cigar. Wrapping it all together is a dark, oily Habana 2000 Maduro wrapper that adds depth, richness, and visual appeal.
From the first draw, the quality of construction is evident. The cigar delivers thick clouds of smoke and a smooth, consistent burn. Flavor-wise, it opens with a sweet spice that quickly evolves into bold cocoa and mocha notes. Earthy undertones remain present throughout, while classic maduro flavors blend seamlessly with Nicaraguan intensity. The finish is long and satisfying, highlighted by a touch of sweet raisin that adds refinement without overpowering the profile.
Sitting comfortably in the medium-to-full-bodied range, this Churchill is ideal for experienced smokers seeking complexity without harshness. Its smooth yet robust character makes it an excellent companion to aged rum, fine scotch, or port wine. At 7 inches by a 50 ring gauge, it delivers a slow, rewarding smoke lasting well over two hours. Romeo y Julieta Crafted by AJ Fernandez Churchill is a confident statement from a master blender and a fitting addition to the legacy of one of the cigar world’s most iconic names.
