Romeo Y Julieta Aniversario No. 2 (Belicoso) Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
Since 1875, Romeo y Julieta has set the standard for premium cigars, and the Dominican-made line continues that tradition. Released in 2005 to mark 130 years of excellence, the Aniversario No. 2 Belicoso is the boldest take on the classic brand yet. This 6 1/8" x 52 Belicoso combines Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Peruvian filler tobaccos with a Connecticut Broadleaf binder and a medium-brown Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper, producing a medium-to-full-bodied smoke with depth, complexity, and richness.
The Romeo y Julieta Aniversario has earned widespread acclaim, receiving multiple 90+ ratings from Cigar Aficionado, including a high score of 92 and ranking #19 on their Top 25 Cigars of 2007. The traditional red band gives way to a sleek black Aniversario band, signaling a more powerful experience. From the first draw, spiciness, earthy tones, and subtle sweetness captivate the palate, gradually evolving into layers of espresso, cocoa, and warm wood notes. Construction is flawless, with a smooth draw, even burn, and consistent strength throughout.
The Aniversario No. 2 Belicoso is a bold, full-bodied cigar for experienced smokers who may have found the original blend too mild. It pairs beautifully with bold red wine, dark spirits, or strong coffee, making it perfect for moments that call for a cigar with presence. For those seeking a lighter, classic Romeo experience, the Reserva Real line provides a smooth and refined alternative.
