This cigar was blended by Manuel Quesada’s daughters, Patricia and Raquel, who are also known for the amazing Tres Reynas. Made in the Dominican Republic, this stick features a dark and oily Mexican San Andres maduro wrapper covering a Dominican binder and exquisite filler tobaccos from Nicaragua as well as the Dominican.
The Quesada 40th Anniversary Toro Real is an astounding 6 x 65 cigar that is going to get your mouth watering from the initial pull throughout the entire cigar. Each puff brings notes of earth, cedar, and pepper. The deeper you get into this stick the more the flavors meld into a slight coffee which plays off the spice nicely. Full-bodied right from the beginning to the nub, this cigar does not overpower but is jam packed with flavor.
