Pinar del Rio Overruns Toro cigars are unbanded firsts packaged up in a bundle and shipped out to retailers across the country as budget sticks. Overruns are regular production cigars that for many reasons just don’t make it into a box. However, there’s nothing “second” about these sticks. The Dominican Republic-based Pinar Del Rio is responsible for some of the tastiest and most underrated cigars in the industry. These cigars are downright delicious and a steal at these prices to stock your humidor full of them.
Now there are many reasons why a cigar could be deemed an overrun, but some of the most common are that at the end of a production day, the manufacturer may have run out of boxes, bands, or other item needed to box the cigars. There may be a few whose wrapper colors are darker or lighter than the rest of the batch due to tobacco leaves being organic materials, or the color of the wrappers may not match closely enough to put them all in a box side by side.
We do not expect that they will last long in our inventory and we never know when we will be able to get more. If you have been looking for the next great deal on budget cigars, I do not understand why you have not jumped on these yet. They are an amazing value even at double our price. Because the Pinar del Rio Overruns change from batch to batch that gets shipped to us, we do not know if we will get these same types of cigars in the future. However, all cigars within one bundle are the same cigar. So, if you see or find one you like, I would suggest that you grab them fast.
