1 x Perdomo 20th Anniversary Maduro Epicure (6" x 56, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). You’ll taste the exquisitely balanced and perfectly fermented Nicaraguan tobaccos, including a wrapper aged an extra fourteen months in bourbon barrels. Notes of cocoa and coffee meld with oak and cherry wood to create a formidable base profile, while leather and caramel and exotic spices show up at intervals to form a solidly delicious back-end experience.
1 x Perdomo Habano Bourbon Barrel-Aged Maduro Epicure (6" x 54, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). A six-year-aged Broadleaf Maduro wrapper coats this Nicaraguan puro that was aged an additional 14 months in used Bourbon barrels. This cigar just oozes an oaky whiskey scent. It contains a complex blend of tobaccos from Condega and Jalapa, with a good measure of ligero from Esteli to add a rich, spicy warmth to the sweet cocoa, espresso, and leather found throughout.
1 x Perdomo Reserve 10th Anniversary Maduro Epicure (6" x 54, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). A Nicaraguan puro—wrapper, filler, and binder, and uses tobaccos aged no less than six years. Each vitola is rolled to produce an easy draw and copious amounts of thick, rich smoke. Expect sweet cocoa, earth, coffee, just a touch of cedar, and some medium pepper. A distinct sweetness on the finish is the tell-tale sign of the bourbon barrel aging process and is a delightful touch to seal the deal.
1 x Perdomo Lot 23 Maduro Toro (6" x 50, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). Each cigar is lovingly handcrafted at Tabacalera Perdomo in Nicaragua using ultra-premium, heavily aged Cuban-seed Nicaraguan filler and binder leaves. For this Maduro example, the package is rounded out using a 5-year aged higher-priming Cuban seed Nicaraguan Maduro wrapper, adding an incredible amount of depth, complexity, and overall strength to the blend. First, expect some heavy Nicaraguan pepper and spice. As the cigar evolves notes of sweet cocoa, earth, coffee, just a touch of cedar will become readily apparent. An easy draw provides more than ample amounts of dense white smoke throughout the experience ending with a sweet clean finish.
