Perdomo Lot 23 Connecticut Toro Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping
The Lot 23 Connecticut Toro is the mildest member of Nick Perdomo’s famous Lot 23 family, joining the Maduro and Sun Grown varieties that helped establish the brand’s reputation years ago. Crafted at the Perdomo factory in Nicaragua, this series is built around a unique idea: tobaccos cultivated from a single plot of land reserved exclusively for Lot 23 over two decades ago. The experiment became a defining moment for the brand, and this Connecticut version adds a smooth, mellow option for those who favor refinement over raw power.
Inside, you’ll find Cuban-seed Nicaraguan fillers and binder tobaccos, dressed in a silky Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper from higher primings of the plant. As with the rest of the line, every tobacco leaf is aged at least five years to ensure flawless balance and maturity. Unlike its siblings, however, this blend is not a true Nicaraguan puro—yet that slight departure is exactly what gives the Connecticut its unique charm and creamy character.
Visually, the cigar impresses with its updated band design in yellow and brown tones, paired with elegant cedar box packaging. Performance is consistently top-notch, delivering an even burn, easy draw, and dense clouds of aromatic smoke. The flavor journey starts with a touch of pepper spice, quickly softening into smooth waves of cream, cedar, and natural honey sweetness. A mild earthy core ties the flavors together, leaving a refreshingly clean finish. Mild-to-medium in body, the 6” x 50 Toro size is a crowd favorite for its long, relaxing burn and perfectly balanced profile.
Approachable yet satisfying, the Lot 23 Connecticut Toro is an excellent choice for beginners discovering premium cigars or seasoned enthusiasts seeking a go-to everyday smoke. It shines when paired with coffee, white wine, or light spirits and compares favorably with Connecticut favorites like the Perdomo Reserve Champagne or Oliva Connecticut Reserve. Affordable, well-constructed, and brimming with flavor, the Perdomo Lot 23 Connecticut Toro is proof that simplicity, when done right, can be extraordinary.
