Partagas Legend Toro Leyenda Cigars
The Partagas Legend Toro Leyenda cigar exemplifies the fact that success is never a singular affair, often taking a team of exceptionally talented people years to achieve. This premium smoke honors five men, five legends, who all played a crucial role in making Partagas the acclaimed brand it is to this day. Even the longleaf tobacco types comprising each shimmering vitola, from the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, to the San Agustin Olancho binder from Honduras, as well as the Dominican Piloto Cubano filler, were specifically selected as much for their historical significance as for their exceptionally rich taste. In other words, this might be their crowning achievement.
Appearing at first like ebony thanks to the contrasting bright white and beautifully embossed band hugging the firmly packed 6 1/4" x 54 barrel, the expertly fermented wrapper is actually closer to a robust cocoa hue. A complimentary chocolatey aroma heightens the impression, while the oily sheen urges the knuckle to grip just a bit tighter lest the Partagas Legend Toro Leyenda slip away. Pulling a good flame into the cigar, you can expect the palate to first discover a rush of espresso, cedar, and leather. With the profile hitting its full-bodied stride, early, hints of black cherry, molasses, graham cracker, and marzipan are just as prompt to sweeten the potently earthy and spice-laden base flavors for the long journey ahead.
Perhaps you've overlooked or even forgotten about Partagas, thinking them a relic of an earlier age when cigars were not nearly as exciting as some of today's stogies. Let the Partagas Legend Toro Leyenda show you what you've been missing while you've been off enjoying other excellent smokes crafted to celebrate many years in the business, like the Perdomo Twentieth Anniversary Maduro or the Nat Cicco 1965 Aniversario.
