Oliva Serie V Melanio Double Toro Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping!
The Oliva Serie V Melanio Double Toro is a bold, box-pressed 6" x 60 vitola that represents the pinnacle of Oliva’s blending artistry. Years in the making, this Nicaraguan gem is built with carefully aged ligero fillers and binders from the rich soils of Nicaragua, wrapped in a flawless Ecuadorian sun-grown leaf. The craftsmanship is second to none—only Oliva’s most skilled torcedores are entrusted with its production.
The Oliva Serie V Melanio series has accumulated numerous 90+ ratings from Cigar Aficionado, highlighted by the Melanio Figurado—honored as the #1 Cigar of the Year for 2014 with a remarkable 96 rating—celebrated for its rich, balanced flavors and exceptional craftsmanship.
Upon lighting, this double toro floods the senses with a wave of ligero intensity and classic Nicaraguan earthiness. That initial spice slowly gives way to a luxuriously complex profile of dark chocolate, roasted coffee, and sweet wood. As the experience builds, the finish becomes long and velvety, with lingering notes of cocoa, nutmeg, and toasted nuts. It’s powerful, yes—but polished to perfection.
A cigar this complex is best suited for seasoned aficionados. Whether celebrating a milestone or savoring a quiet evening, the Melanio Double Toro delivers on all fronts. Enjoy it with your favorite single malt, an aged port, or a dark craft brew. Comparable to Padron 1926 and Rocky Patel Decade, this cigar proves Oliva’s place among the finest in the world of premium tobacco.
