Oliva Serie O Robusto Tubos Cigars
The Oliva Serie O Robusto Tubo cigar is a sleeper in the world of premium smokes — often overshadowed, but undeniably worthy of classic status. As the predecessor to the legendary Serie V, this stick combines an Ecuadorian-grown Habano wrapper with Nicaraguan filler and binder, delivering a smooth, balanced, and richly satisfying profile. Cigar Aficionado handed the Oliva Serie O blend multiple 90+ ratings, reaching as high as a 94 rating and securing it the number 11 position on the Top 25 of 2013 list.
The dark, oily wrapper gives off an earthy pre-light aroma, and once lit, the ample draw produces thick white smoke brimming with bold spice, milk chocolate, and cinnamon. As the cigar progresses, notes of cedar, toasted nuts, and black pepper develop, finishing with a subtle hint of coffee for a lingering, refined aftertaste.
Sized at 5” x 50, the Oliva Serie O Robusto Tubo offers a medium-full bodied yet approachable experience, making it perfect for both new smokers venturing into stronger blends and seasoned aficionados seeking dependable complexity. Ideal with red wine or a fine Scotch, this cigar proves that luxury and value can coexist. If you enjoy Oliva Serie V or Flor de Oliva, this is a must-try.
