Oliva Serie O Double Toro Cigars
The Oliva Serie O Double Toro cigar is a standout among premium Nicaraguan cigars, offering a luxurious and full-bodied smoking experience. Often overlooked as the predecessor to the famed Oliva Serie V, this 6” x 60 double toro features a sun-grown Ecuadorian Habano wrapper over Nicaraguan filler and binder, delivering a smooth, rich, and highly aromatic cigar perfect for both beginners and seasoned enthusiasts. Cigar Aficionado handed the Oliva Serie O blend multiple 90+ ratings, reaching as high as a 94 rating and securing it the number 11 position on the Top 25 of 2013 list.
Dark brown and oozing with natural oils, the double toro gives off an earthy pre-light aroma. Once lit, it produces thick, creamy smoke that fills the palate with bold spice, milk chocolate, and cinnamon notes. As the smoke develops, layers of nutty and cedary undertones with a touch of pepper and coffee create a complex and balanced flavor profile.
Ideal for pairing with red wine, scotch, or espresso, the Oliva Serie O Double Toro is a must-try for aficionados seeking a medium-full bodied Nicaraguan cigar. Comparable to Oliva Serie V and Flor de Oliva, this cigar combines luxury, complexity, and affordability, making it perfect for any occasion or celebratory smoke.
