Nub Connecticut 460 Tubos Cigars by Oliva
Studio Tobac’s Nub line is built on bold foundations, with four core blends that each deliver a unique profile—and the Connecticut stands as the smoothest of the bunch. But don’t mistake it for mild. Packed with a hearty blend of Nicaraguan long-fillers and topped with a creamy Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, this 4" x 60 cigar leans closer to medium-bodied territory, offering plenty of flavor while dialing back the intensity found in its stronger siblings.
From the first spark, the Nub Connecticut 460 Tubos unleashes warm, rich notes of soft leather and fresh black coffee. Far from the thin, flat Connecticut cigars of old, this one opens up fast, expanding into layers of oak, spice, and that grassy signature of shade-grown tobacco. As the thick ash builds and the smoke deepens, creamy sweetness and a touch of nuttiness smooth out the profile, delivering a rich, well-rounded finish that’s nothing short of satisfying.
Though it may look small, don’t expect a quick session. The chunky 60-ring gauge holds enough premium tobacco to easily stretch your smoke into the one-hour mark or beyond. If you’re after something quicker, try the Café au Lait by El Rey Del Mundo or a compact infused option like the Acid Krush Classic. But if you want a compact, expertly constructed cigar that delivers full-size flavor in a sleek Tubo, the Nub Connecticut 460 Tubos is a no-brainer.
