Nicaraguan Series by AJ Fernandez Churchill Cigars
The Nicaraguan Series by AJ Fernandez Churchill continues the legacy of master blender AJ Fernandez, a true force in the premium cigar world. While he’s known for working with rare and exotic tobaccos, this straightforward 7" x 48 Nicaraguan puro proves that skill and experience can elevate even the simplest blend. Built with a selection of aged Nicaraguan tobaccos—many grown on AJ’s own farms—this Churchill offers a medium-bodied, full-flavored profile with impressive aging potential, yet it’s fully ready to deliver a satisfying experience right out of the box.
Finished with striking blue and gold bands, the cigar stands out immediately in the humidor, especially when surrounded by a full lineup of its counterparts. Once lit, the blend reveals its depth: earth and dark chocolate lead with a touch of chili pepper, followed by creamy waves of malted milk, caramel, and raisins. Before transitioning into the second third, a nougat-like medley of almond and hazelnut emerges, joined by notes of coffee, dark berry, and allspice. The final stretch offers a bold pop of black pepper, yet the burn remains steady and the smoke stays cool, encouraging you to enjoy every inch of the long format.
Fans of robust Nicaraguan puros such as El Baton or Romeo y Julieta Reserva Real Nicaragua will immediately appreciate its character, but this Churchill is far from exclusive. Whether you're new to the hobby or a longtime aficionado, the Nicaraguan Series by AJ Fernandez Churchill is a smart addition to any order—perfect for those moments when you need a slow-burning, richly layered cigar that checks every box.
