Instead of the rigid square press found on the Nicaraguan puro New World cigars, New World Connecticut are a rounded off vitola which feature a tasty blend of Nicaraguan and Brazilian filler, a San Andres Mexican binder, all under a beautiful blonde Connecticut shade wrapper.
A lot of smokers dismiss the Connecticut shade leaf due to its mild body, but if they are looking past New World Connecticut, they are doing their palate a disservice. The true beauty of this 6” x 60 cigar is the fact the creamy nature of the wrapper leaf plays off the spicier filler tobacco perfectly and gives an amazing complexity to this smoke. While this may feature the traditional mild body one would expect from a Connecticut wrapped stogie, it remains extremely flavorful.
