New World Connecticut Corona Gorda Cigars
A.J. Fernandez’s New World cigars captured attention last year, and now he introduces the New World Connecticut Corona Gorda—a cigar that stands apart from its predecessor. Moving away from the square-pressed Nicaraguan puro, this 5 1/2" x 46 rounded vitola features a flavorful blend of Nicaraguan and Brazilian filler, a San Andres Mexican binder, all wrapped in a smooth, blonde Connecticut shade. It earned a 92 rating from Cigar Journal for its outstanding craftsmanship.
Connecticut wrappers often get overlooked due to their mild body, but this Corona Gorda proves their potential. The creamy wrapper complements the spicier filler perfectly, producing a complex, layered smoking experience. While mild in strength, the cigar delivers rich, satisfying flavor from start to finish.
Blended by a master known for full-bodied Nicaraguan cigars, the New World Connecticut Corona Gorda is an ideal companion for a morning coffee or a relaxing smoke any time of day. For smokers seeking a bolder Connecticut experience, the My Father Connecticut offers a fuller-bodied, more robust alternative.
