Our MYM - Macanudo Inspirado Collection Cigar Sampler includes:
2 x Macanudo Inspirado White Toro (6 1/2" x 50, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). With four-year-aged Nicaraguan and Mexican fillers, an Indonesian binder, and an Ecuadoran Connecticut wrapper rested for half a dozen years, even grizzled old-timers will find much to enjoy here. Alive with a luscious taste from the start, each slow-burning cigar will progress from creamy cedar to sharp white pepper and on into the depths of rich dark cocoa and nutmeg, all while remaining cool on the lips and easy on the belly.
2 x Macanudo Inspirado Orange Toro (5 3/4" x 52, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). Rolled using a robust filler blend of Honduran, Dominican, and Nicaraguan tobaccos and a Honduran binder. The wrapper is a deep brown Olancho San Agustin leaf from Honduras, a rare but extremely flavorful type of tobacco. Earthy, crisp, and complex, this stick begins with grassy notes and a strong tobacco presence, but soon transitions into a vast array of spicy and sweet flavors. A tangy citrus note hangs in the background, and a peppery cherry flavor rolls off the nose on the finish.
2 x Macanudo Inspirado Red Toro (6" x 50, ●●●●● Full). Incorporates a blend of aged Nicaraguan filler and binder tobaccos beneath a golden-brown Ecuador Habano wrapper - expertly blended and tweaked to provide a satisfying full-bodied smoking experience with rich, complex flavor. Opens with a burst of pepper and cedar, which subsides into a rich, spicy flavor bouquet of black cherry, leather, cinnamon, and cocoa. A bold finish and a touch of cayenne on the retrohale further rounds things out, boasting an amazing balance and smoothness throughout.
2 x Macanudo Inspirado Green Toro (6" x 50, ●●●○○ Medium). Slammed full of carefully aged Dominican longleaf filler beneath an exotic Indonesian binder and a shimmering, near-perfect Brazilian Arapiraca wrapper. Pre-light test reveals a toasty, nutty aroma, with a promise of cocoa and cream. Leading off with a solid run of espresso, soft pretzel, and oak, you'll also witness a nice raw sugarcane sweetness. The middle third reveals roasted peanuts, brown butter, cinnamon, and dried fruit. Finishes with chocolate malt, salted caramel, earth, and bright citrus.
2 x Macanudo Inspirado Black Robusto (4 7/8" x 48, ●●●●● Full). Containing an expertly balanced mix of Esteli-grown Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos plus an Ecuadoran Sumatra binder, with a special Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper, grown using an innovative process that allows it to ripen on the stalk. Expect notes of sweet wood, leather, white pepper, and black licorice, with blasts of espresso and cocoa on them throughout the experience.
