1 x Kristoff Corojo Limitada Torpedo (6 1/4" x 52, ●●●●○ Medium-Full, Rated 93). Selected by Cigar Aficionado as the 2012 #11 Cigar Of The Year. These cigars have quietly become one of the great boutique cigars of our time. One of the latest additions to the Kristoff portfolio, the Kristoff Corojo Limitada sports 85 percent Cuban-seed Nicaraguan tobacco—wrapper, filler, and binder. The filler blend is smoothed out, however, by filling in the other 15 percent with luscious Dominican long-fillers.
1 x Kristoff Sumatra Torpedo (6 1/4" x 52, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This cigar is constructed with Cuban seed Dominican and Cuban seed, Nicaraguan long fillers, Brazilian binders and Ecuadoran Sumatra wrappers. There are plenty of woody, grassy notes, sweet dried fruit, spice, and cinnamon flavors blended with a smooth sweet touch of leather.
1 x Kristoff Criollo Torpedo (6 1/4" x 52, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). Made up of Cuban-seed Dominican and Nicaraguan filler, Olor Dominican Binder, and a oily Honduran Criollo wrapper, this Dominican-made stogie is a perfect cigar for all hours of the day. The pre-light aroma has a very floral note and this continues after the first couple of puffs. Strong aspects of cedar and earth are mixed with an almost citrus nature. By the last half of the Criollo, the floral tendencies become muted and we you are left with an amazing smoke with a wood-like quality.
1 x Kristoff Maduro Torpedo (6 1/4" x 52, ●●●○○ Medium). Made in the Dominican Republic with a wonderful blend of well-aged Dominican and Nicaraguan long-filler and a Dominican Binder, the key to this cigar’s flavor is a super dark and oily Brazilian maduro wrapper. Pre-light inspection will reveal a flawless wrapper that appears almost seamless. A densely packed cigar, there will be a sweet almost chocolaty aroma before lit. After the first few effortless draws, this sweet flavor continues and mixes with a slightly bitter espresso note. From foot to nub, this stick will be smoked easily and straight with the same flavor profile carried right through to the end.
1 x Kristoff Ligero Maduro Torpedo (6 1/4" x 52, ●●●●○ Medium-Full). This cigar uses twice the strong ligero tobacco as their normal line. A Dominican made beauty, the core of this cigar are Dominican and Honduran tobaccos and a binder of Cuban-seed Dominican. The maduro wrapper is an almost black, striking Brazilian maduro leaf. An oily appearance greets the smoker at first glance and a strong cocoa and cedar aroma is present before flame is ever introduced. Where the Criollo of this line has a spicy blast at first, the maduro is a much more subtle first puff. The more you smoke one of these fine cigars, the more flavors and complexities come through with strongly prevalent notes of dark chocolate and espresso.
