1 x Arturo Fuente Hemingway Natural Short Story (4" x 49 , ●●●○○ Medium). This cigar contains nothing but delectable Fuente-grown Dominican longleaf tobaccos for the filler and binder. A scrumptious thought. Finally, each curvaceous stick is finished with a bold Cameroon wrapper tailor-made to inject flavor directly into your soul. As the full width of the barrel begins to smolder, thick reams of smoke will flood the palate with pepper, sweet cream, and warm spice. A splash of citrus will join the dark chocolate that enters at the halfway mark, followed by oak and espresso as the final third is reached.
1 x Arturo Fuente Maduro Chateau Fuente (4 ½” x 50, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). This vitola starts with a hefty portion of longleaf filler and binder from the Fuente family's own Chateau de la Fuente fields, Dominican wonderlands of agriculture famous for their ability to produce tobaccos of unmatched flavor and quality. After extensive aging and blending to just the right profile, the carefully bunched leaves are rolled beneath a beautiful Connecticut Broadleaf loaded with sweet aroma and taste. The sweet spot of this cigar will produce notes of chocolate-covered almonds and plenty of leather and cane syrup. The stick will release vanilla, molasses, and a touch of white pepper before all is said and done.
1 x Arturo Fuente Maduro Flor Fina 858 (6” x 47, ●●○○○ Mild-Medium). Constructed with a beautiful Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper and the best Dominican filler and binder. The wisps of smoke give hints to the earthy, pungent flavors yet to come even as the wrapper wafts cocoa to the nose just before lighting. Oak, black coffee, and sweet spices coat the palate during the first few puffs, the thick smoke creamy and smooth.
1 x Arturo Fuente Natural Double Chateau Fuente (6 ¾” x 50 , ●●●○○ Medium). This cigar consists of fine specially selected tobaccos from a private family reserve, grown on Chateau de la Fuente. A blend of rich Dominican filler and binder tobaccos are embraced by a sultry African Cameroon wrapper leaf, bringing together what to this day stands as the best-selling cigar in America. The caramel-brown wrapper leaf is rough and veiny. The construction is matchless. An easy draw provides a plethora of heavy white smoke. Smooth, crisp, classic. There is a presence of spice, as with most Cameroon sticks, but nothing overpowering. To top them off, the Fuentes selected a very special Ecuadorian sun grown wrapper leaf to add a considerable amount of heavy-hitting strength and smooth, luxurious spice. As with all Fuente cigars, the sun grown is unparalleled in terms of construction and consistency, carrying on the family tradition of superb quality. Of course, the draw is on-point and easy, and at first light this piece of tobacco artwork slathers the palate with a warm greeting of cedar and oak. Soon, the crisp, grassy flavors evolve and bring about hints of herbs and very strong spice. This cigar has a very clean finish for being so heavy.
