My Father The Judge Corona Gorda Cigars - 98 Rated
Smoking a premium cigar may sometimes feel like a guilty pleasure, but there’s nothing wrong with enjoying a My Father The Judge Corona Gorda whenever you like. At the heart of their empire, the Garcia family’s My Father brand—which also includes Bijou 1922 and Connecticut—has consistently been ranked among the finest cigars in the world. Using the signature My Father recipe, crafted from an exceptional selection of tobaccos grown across their three Nicaraguan farms, the Garcias have expertly expanded the line without diminishing its prestige. A sultry Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper envelopes dual Corojo and Criollo binders, increasing strength while preserving the complexity and character that define the My Father frontmark. The My Father The Judge Robusto earned a 98-point rating and was named the #1 Cigar of 2024 by Cigar Aficionado.
Imposing yet approachable, each sturdy My Father The Judge Corona Gorda commands attention the moment it is held. Solid but with just the right amount of give, the 5 5/8" x 46 cigar rests heavily in the hand beneath its ornate double bands, exuding aromas of cedar. A perfect draw invites a steady flame, unleashing a refined symphony of toasted walnut, leather, coffee, and nutmeg. Subtle hints of sweet cream and bright citrus balance the palate during the second third, culminating in a final act of espresso, black pepper, and meaty char in the slow-burning conclusion.
Whether you select singles or a box of 23, the My Father The Judge Corona Gorda proves itself a worthy addition to the legendary My Father line. Rich, complex, and meticulously crafted, this cigar is a true testament to the Garcia family’s dedication to quality and remains a champion of refined taste and complete satisfaction.
