Similar to some of the earlier My Father Limited Edition releases, a sturdy cedar coffin box is utilized to individually contain each rich cigar and ensure optimal smoking enjoyment. Once the cigar is in hand, the anticipating aficionado will find a heavy and shimmering vitola with a sweet aroma like an oatmeal raisin cookie and a buttery smooth draw. Alight, the strength starts out a solid medium with some spice and a warm nuttiness at the core plus a bit of bright citrus. The first third ends with a rush of cream and cocoa that continue to build along with the strength, but a pleasing herbaceous flavor is also present to refresh the palate.
