My Father Connecticut Robusto Cigars
When a master like Don Pepin Garcia turns his attention to a smoother, milder smoke, the result is nothing short of remarkable. The My Father Connecticut Robusto offers a mild-to-medium-bodied experience that is both approachable and complex, showcasing the artistry of one of the world’s top cigar makers. Featuring a blend of Nicaraguan Habano and Criollo filler tobaccos bound with a Nicaraguan Corojo ‘99 binder, the standout element is the blonde Ecuadorian Connecticut wrapper, providing an unparalleled creamy smoothness rarely found in the My Father line.
The traditional My Father band is accented with a secondary gold band, signaling a truly unique smoke. Even without the bands, the flawless golden-hued wrapper immediately conveys the difference from standard My Father offerings. Initial flavors of cream and roasted nuts are complemented by a subtle touch of signature Pepin spice, gradually building to a medium-bodied peak that is balanced and refined.
At 5 1/4" x 52, the Connecticut Robusto is ideal for anytime enjoyment, from a morning coffee to a quiet evening smoke. With impeccable construction and a sophisticated flavor profile, this cigar is perfect for both seasoned aficionados and those seeking a smoother entry into the My Father family. This blend has been ranked as high as 90 by Cigar Aficionado, cementing its place as a top-tier Connecticut-wrapped offering. For an alternative medium-bodied smoke from the My Father factory, the Cabaiguan Maduro is an excellent companion.
