Montecristo Platinum Rothchilde (Tubo) Cigars
A top-shelf, ultra-premium choice for the modern aficionado, the Montecristo Platinum Rothchilde Tubo might just represent the pinnacle of your search for the perfect cigar. With a legacy spanning nearly a century, some newer smokers might view the brand as a relic of a bygone era, but seasoned aficionados know better. With a lineup of cigars catering to every palate, Montecristo consistently delivers the finest, and the Platinum Rothchilde is no exception. Crafted for experienced smokers, it blends rare Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Peruvian long-fillers under a luxurious Mexican San Andrés Maduro wrapper, offering a rich mosaic of full-bodied flavors.
The Montecristo Platinum Series has earned multiple 90+ ratings from Cigar Aficionado, celebrated for its balanced complexity, creamy profile, and flawless construction. Housed in a protective aluminum tube (tubo), subtle gold-trimmed platinum double bands hint at the artistry within, while the ruddy, sleek wrapper conceals the hand-rolled perfection. Clip the triple cap, light the broad foot, and indulge in a creamy, vibrant smoke, featuring bittersweet cocoa, hickory, Turkish coffee, leather, crisp pear, salted almonds, and earthy cinnamon, evolving beautifully until the nub.
Though many reserve cigars of this pedigree for special occasions, the 5” x 50 Montecristo Platinum Rothchilde Tubo elevates any moment. Whether enjoyed immediately or aged for the future, it pairs flawlessly with bourbon, dark rum, or espresso for an unforgettable experience.
