Montecristo Platinum Habana No. 2 (Belicoso) Cigars
The Montecristo Platinum Habano No. 2 is a top-shelf, ultra-premium belicoso that represents the pinnacle of modern cigar craftsmanship. While Montecristo’s legacy spans nearly a century, seasoned aficionados know the brand continues to define excellence. Crafted for experienced palates, the Platinum blends rare Nicaraguan, Dominican, and Peruvian long-fillers under a rich, chocolatey Mexican San Andrés wrapper, delivering a full-bodied and complex smoking experience.
The Montecristo Platinum Series has earned multiple 90+ ratings from Cigar Aficionado, recognized for its exceptional balance, nuanced flavors, and flawless construction. The understated gold-trimmed platinum double bands hint at the meticulous craftsmanship, while the perfectly rolled belicoso reveals its true character once the triple cap is clipped and the foot is lit. Creamy notes of bittersweet cocoa and hickory greet the palate, followed by evolving layers of Turkish coffee, leather, crisp pear, salted almonds, and earthy cinnamon, keeping the smoke engaging from start to finish.
Though many reserve cigars of this caliber for special occasions, the 6 1/8” x 52 Montecristo Platinum Habano No. 2 elevates any moment. Whether enjoyed immediately or aged for a future celebration, it delivers a luxurious, memorable experience—perfect alongside a fine bourbon, espresso, or dark rum.
