Montecristo Nicaragua Series Robusto Pack of 5 Cigars (Includes Free Shipping) | Selected by Cigar Aficionado 2018 #10 Cigar Of The Year – Rated 93
The Montecristo Nicaragua Robusto is a masterclass in Nicaraguan craftsmanship. It’s hard to imagine a premium handmade cigar being anything less than extraordinary, but this robusto proves it effortlessly. Let’s explore why.
This is Montecristo, a legendary brand known for decades of excellence in cigar making. The blend was created by A.J. Fernandez, whose team in Estelí ensures every cigar remains true to its exclusive, meticulously developed Nicaraguan blend. Only the finest aged Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos are used, delivering a robust and flavorful smoke. The blend earned a 93 rating and ranked #10 Cigar of the Year in 2018 by Cigar Aficionado, cementing its place among the world’s top premium cigars.
The 5” x 54 Montecristo Nicaragua Robusto is as elegant as it is aromatic. Take slow, careful puffs to light the broad foot evenly and experience the full depth of its flavor. Initial notes of espresso, oak, and meaty char gradually give way to layers of cardamom, dry-roasted peanuts, sweet cream, and salted caramel. The lingering finish reveals dark chocolate, black cherry, and a touch of bitter herbs, delivering a complex, satisfying conclusion.
Whether you’re a fan of rich Nicaraguan smokes like 602 Maduro or E.P. Carrillo Encore, this robusto is an absolute must-have. Experience the celebrated Montecristo Nicaragua today—open a rare Scotch or tawny port, grab a box, and indulge in one of 2018’s top-rated cigars.
