Liga Undercrown Shade Belicoso

Liga Undercrown Shade Belicoso Cigars

The Liga Undercrown Shade Belicoso Cigars (6" x 52) are an elegant figurado that showcases Drew Estate’s craftsmanship in a refined Connecticut-wrapped format. While fans are familiar with the dark maduro wrappers of the Liga Privada No. 9 and Undercrown lines, or the medium brown Stalk Cut T52 wrapper, the Undercrown Shade offers a smooth, balanced alternative. Wrapped in a Ecuadorian Connecticut Shade leaf, with a Sumatran binder and a blend of Dominican Criollo ’98 and Nicaraguan Corojo and Criollo fillers, this cigar delivers a medium-bodied smoking experience full of depth and flavor.

Before lighting, the cold draw introduces notes of creamy vanilla and earthy richness. Once ignited, the smoke develops into sweet cream and subtle pepper, which evolves seamlessly toward the final third where a delicate cinnamon spice emerges. While lighter than the bold Undercrown Maduro and Liga Privada lines, the Shade Belicoso is far from mild, offering complexity and balance with every puff.

Perfect for any time of day, the Liga Undercrown Shade Belicoso pairs beautifully with coffee, rum, or a fine bourbon. Its refined construction, smooth draw, and layered flavors make it a box-worthy Connecticut-wrapped cigar that appeals to both seasoned aficionados and those new to Drew Estate’s artistry.
