La Gloria Cubana Serie R Natural No. 4 Cigars
When the large ring gauge trend first emerged, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo was among the first to truly bring out the “big guns” with the introduction of La Gloria Cubana Serie R Natural No. 4. A trailblazing masterpiece, the Serie R lineup features bold, big ring gauge cigars that deliver serious power while upholding the meticulous quality standards of La Gloria Cubana. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, this 4 7/8" x 52 stick blends Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, including a generous portion of potent ligero leaf, tied with a spicy Nicaraguan binder. Completing the blend is a veiny, heavily-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper grown specifically for this cigar. The La Gloria Cubana Serie R blend has earned ratings as high as 92 by Cigar Aficionado, highlighting its exceptional craftsmanship.
Thick, white smoke coats the palate with bold pepper, sweet honey, and black cherry notes, while roasted coffee adds richness to the earthy profile. The finish, intense yet brief, leaves a lasting impression. Serie R Natural No. 4 is a full-bodied cigar perfect for experienced smokers seeking a complex and powerful smoke. Pair it with port wine or a robust beer for a relaxing and indulgent experience. Carrying the legacy of La Gloria Cubana, every stick is crafted with the utmost precision. Comparable cigars include MUWAT and Joya de Nicaragua Antaño. Big flavors, big construction—that’s the Serie R Natural No. 4.
