La Gloria Cubana Serie R Natural No. 3 Cigars
When the large ring gauge trend first took off, Ernesto Perez-Carrillo was among the first to truly bring out the “big guns” with the introduction of La Gloria Cubana Serie R Natural No. 3. A groundbreaking cigar, the Serie R lineup features bold, big ring gauge sticks that deliver serious power while maintaining the exceptional quality standards of La Gloria Cubana. Handcrafted in the Dominican Republic, this 4 1/2" x 50 robusto blends Dominican and Nicaraguan filler tobaccos, including a generous portion of potent ligero leaf, tied with a spicy Nicaraguan binder. Completing the blend is a veiny, heavily-aged Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper grown specifically for this cigar. The La Gloria Cubana Serie R blend has earned ratings as high as 92 by Cigar Aficionado, showcasing its premium craftsmanship.
Thick, white smoke coats the palate with bold pepper, complemented by sweet honey and black cherry notes, while roasted coffee adds depth to the earthy profile. The finish is intense yet short, leaving a memorable impression. Serie R Natural No. 3 is a full-bodied cigar designed for experienced smokers seeking a complex and powerful smoke. Pair it with port wine or a robust beer for a relaxing and indulgent experience. Backed by the legacy of La Gloria Cubana, every stick is crafted with meticulous attention to detail. Comparable cigars include MUWAT and Joya de Nicaragua Antaño. Big flavors, big cigars—that’s Serie R Natural No. 3.
