La Gloria Cubana Serie R Maduro No. 6 Cigars
A long-time favorite among cigar reviewers, bloggers, and everyday BOTLs and SOTLs, the La Gloria Cubana Serie R Maduro No. 6 is an aromatic, sweet, and full-bodied standout. This dark, toothy 5 7/8" x 60 cigar helped elevate the La Gloria Cubana name from the very first puff. Created in 1999 by Ernesto Perez-Carrillo Jr. as his final independent project before joining the General Cigar portfolio, the Serie R Maduro features a proprietary Nicaraguan and Dominican blend beneath a thick, flavorful Connecticut Broadleaf wrapper—one of the most sought-after tobaccos in the industry.
Easy to light and impossible to forget, the Serie R Maduro No. 6 is perfect for relaxed afternoons or long, slow evenings. Expect dense, chewy clouds of smoke with notes of salted, chocolate-covered caramel, smoky Scotch, and deep, earthy cocoa. For aficionados seeking a full-bodied cigar with true depth and satisfaction, this classic delivers every time.
