La Flor Dominicana Coronado Toro Cigars
La Flor Dominicana Coronado Toro is a 6" x 52 cigar. Once branded Coronado by La Flor, the blend in this premium cigar is described by Cigar Aficionado magazine as one of Litto Gomez’s finest. After a year and a half hiatus and a slightly new name, La Flor Dominicana Coronado is back and fans are rejoicing. With Dominican filler and binder tobacco and a reddish-hued Nicaraguan wrapper, this stick is different than most the La Flor Dominicanas you may have smoked before. Gone is the power of the Ligero and Double Ligero blends, and in their stead is a nice medium bodied cigar.
Do not mistake a medium body with lacking flavor because La Flor Dominicana Coronado Toro is packed to the brim with complex flavor notes. From the creamy nuttiness inherent in the Dominican filler tobacco, to a cinnamon undertones half way through the cigar, you will be amazed at what could possibly come next. Underneath it all is an amazing and subtle spice found in the Nicaraguan sun grown wrapper.
After a slight rebranding, La Flor Dominicana Coronado is back, and it is as good, if not better, than it once was. While not as powerful as some of the more well known LFD sticks, Coronado is the perfect cigar to enjoy after a long day and a full meal. If you are looking for power, we would recommend the La Flor Dominicana Double Ligero.
