This box pressed beauty is made in conjunction with the Garcia family at the My Father Cigar Factory in Esteli. This cigar comprises a Cuban-seed Mexican Maduro wrapper and some of the best leaves that Nicaragua has to offer. The pre-light draw just oozes chocolatey goodness into the mouth. Lighting this stick is a must. Once lit, one's mouth is coated with that smooth chocolaty goodness that we got a whiff of in the cold draw with a Spanish cedar undertone. Along the length of this awesome smoke, we experienced a plethora of great flavors including coffee, cedar, leather, caramel, dark dried cherries, and what would a Pepin stick be without at least a little bit of spice and pepper. The spice and pepper were never the dominant flavor and provided a wonderful backdrop for all those other flavors to play off and contrast with.
1 x La Aroma de Cuba Pasion Marveloso (6” x 52 ●●●●○ Medium-Full, 94-Rated). All tobacco used for this cigar is grown, cultivated, harvested, and cured in Nicaragua—wrapper, filler, and binder. We all know Nicaraguan puros are some of the best sticks around, but this one takes things up a notch. Cedar is the main note at first light, soon followed by a sweet array of caramel, molasses, and nuts. The earthy core soon becomes the standout of the flavor profile, with bursts of white pepper between each puff. The finish is smooth, sweet, and spicy, and this stick finishes smack dab between medium and full-bodied.

Made under the supervision of Pepín García, this cigar’s wrapper is grown in the misty valleys of Ecuador which covers a mixture of aged Nicaraguan fillers. The toro-shaped #3 is a wonderful smoke, brimming with spice, coffee, and cocoa notes.
