Island Jim San Andres #2 Torpedo Cigars
The Island Jim San Andres #2 Torpedo is the first line extension of the original Island Jim cigar, crafted by Jim Robinson and Leaf by Oscar. Made at the Oscar Valladares Tobacco & Co. factory in Honduras, this cigar uses the same Honduran filler and binder as the original Island Jim, now topped with a dark, oily Mexican San Andres wrapper. The flavor profile changes, but the character and soul of Island Jim remain true.
The bold bands feature Island Jim himself, this time sporting a San Andres sombrero, while the rustic boxes are surrounded by loose tobacco leaves, emphasizing the boutique craftsmanship. The #2 Torpedo measures 6 ½” x 52 and is intentionally shaped like a No. 2 pencil, with an unfinished foot and multi-colored tip adding to its visual intrigue.
Smoking smooth and cool, the Island Jim San Andres produces thick clouds and long, stable ash. The medium-bodied flavor offers mature tobacco, white pepper, cayenne, and cocoa, accented by subtle hints of black cherry, leather, and cedar. A satisfying, balanced smoke, it is perfect for leisurely moments.
Ideal for all cigar enthusiasts, Island Jim San Andres is a versatile “anytime” smoke. Pair it with coffee, dark beer, or dark rum, or enjoy it under the sun at the beach. Its appearance and flavor spark conversation, making every puff a memorable experience. Island Jim San Andres is the perfect cigar to slow down, unwind, and enjoy life like the man it’s named after—relaxing on the sand.
