Herrera Esteli Miami Short Corona Gorda Pack of 5 Cigars | Selected by Cigar Aficionado 2020 #24 Cigar Of The Year – Rated 92
The Herrera Estelí Miami Short Corona Gorda 5-pack offers the perfect opportunity to experience the pinnacle of boutique, American-rolled craftsmanship in a convenient, humidor-ready format. Every 5 7/8” x 46 cigar in this selection is individually crafted at the renowned El Titan de Bronze factory in Miami, utilizing old-world Cuban traditions that ensure flawless construction, an effortless draw, and unparalleled consistency across all five vitolas.
This 5-pack showcases a masterfully constructed blend developed by Willy Herrera, utilizing an Ecuadorian Habano Oscuro wrapper, an Ecuadorian Sumatra binder, and a premium filler core of Dominican and Nicaraguan long-leaf tobaccos. This exact flavor profile captivated industry critics, leading Cigar Aficionado to award this specific vitola a 92 rating and rank it as the number 24 Cigar of the Year in 2020.
Opening this 5-pack reveals a striking, ruddy wrapper that gives off pre-light aromas of earth, spice, and dark leather. Once lit, these five cigars deliver a deeply satisfying, complex journey where the strength builds beautifully from medium to a rich medium-to-full profile.
The Short Corona Gorda format concentrates the smoke directly onto the palate with dominant flavors of toasted malt, creamy cocoa, and cinnamon, while later thirds reveal deeper notes of espresso and salted caramel accented by a vibrant pop of red pepper. It is an exceptional 5-pack for enthusiasts who appreciate small-batch precision, historical blending roots, and highly decorated flavor profiles.
