H. Upmann by AJ Fernandez Toro Pack of 5 Cigars - Free Shipping! - 92 Rated by Cigar Aficionado
A collaboration that bridges history and modern artistry, the H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez Toro is a top-tier cigar for beginners and seasoned smokers alike. With a heritage dating back to the mid-19th century, H. Upmann has delighted generations of cigar lovers with its rich and refined blends.
Blending tradition with innovation, A.J. Fernandez, creator of hits like Diesel, San Lotano, New World, and Man O’ War, partnered with H. Upmann to create a harmonious Nicaraguan-Dominican longleaf blend. A bold Corojo ’99 binder and an Ecuadorian Sumatra wrapper complete this meticulously crafted 6” x 54 toro.
Each 6" x 54 stick proudly bears the chocolate-hued wrapper and the laurel-wreathed H. Upmann band, with “1844” embossed in gold over a tropical blue background. The secondary band credits Fernandez as the master behind relocating production. From the first light, the palate experiences café con leche, marzipan, and malted barley, evolving into floral notes accented by cocoa and spice, and culminating in espresso, black pepper, and cherry stem flavors.
Medium-bodied and perfectly balanced, the H. Upmann by A.J. Fernandez Toro earned a 92-point rating and remains a favorite worldwide. Whether enjoyed as an everyday smoke or a special indulgence, this Toro exemplifies the perfect blend of historic craftsmanship and modern flavor innovation.
