H. Upmann 1844 Anejo Toro Pack of 5 Cigars (Includes Free Shipping)
The H. Upmann 1844 Añejo Toro 5-Pack bridges the gap between an iconic, historic brand and a thoroughly modernized approach to tobacco fermentation. The H. Upmann 1844 Añejo blend captured a 91 rating from Cigar Aficionado, securing its place among the brand's most celebrated releases. Delivering a creamy, medium-to-full-bodied profile, this 5-pack selection offers an incredibly balanced smoking experience that accommodates seasoned aficionados and transitional smokers alike. While the H. Upmann name has been a cornerstone of the industry since its establishment in Cuba in 1844, this blend marks the historic brand’s first line to bear the "Añejo" designation. This title signifies that every single leaf used in these five premium cigars has been patiently aged for a minimum of five years before rolling.
Handcrafted at the Flor de Copan factory in Honduras, the blend is topped with a rich, oily Ecuadorian Habano wrapper that is bound with a thick Pennsylvania Broadleaf binder. Beneath this wrapper lies an expertly curated three-nation core of long-filler tobaccos sourced from the Dominican Republic, Honduras, and Nicaragua. The intensive five-year aging cycle tempers the natural aggression of the tobaccos, ensuring that each cigar in this 5-pack transforms what could be a sharp bite into a warm, deeply comforting aroma filled with notes of baking spices, toasted wood, and earth.
The smoke delivers a highly complex flavor profile, washing across the palate with evolutionary notes of oak, tanned leather, black tea, and gingerbread, all rounded out by a smooth buttercream finish and subtle dried fruit sweetness. Because these mature tobaccos retain their inherent oils, the blend builds a surprising core of strength as it burns down. This 5-pack of substantial 6” x 54 Toros allows these flavors to develop with exceptional balance and an abundant smoke production. Complete with free shipping, this H. Upmann 1844 Añejo Toro 5-pack stands out as a masterfully balanced premium selection that proves extra patience in the aging barn yields unforgettable results on the palate.
