Gurkha Sniper Cigars
Same 7 1/2” length, same 52 ring gauge, same Dominican and Nicaraguan core, same Indonesian binder but it is different wrappers that bring about a bit of a change of pace from the Connecticut Broadleaf wrapped, Gurkha Spec Ops No. 1 to the all-new Dominican wrapped Gurkha Sniper cigars. The almost famous Gurkha Pelican case, 7 7/8” fixed blade knife with leg sheath and challenge coin even come back for a return with 20 quality Gurkha cigars all featuring that particular new Dominican wrapper.
Notes of earth, oak, raisin, spice, and tea are all present as you kick into this smoke with light nuances of pepper on the retrohale probably coming from the Nicaraguan filler leaves. The dark, drab brown wrapper is rough to the touch, and the draw is easy and smooth with lots of smoke coming up from the foot. As one continues burning through, coffee, cocoa powder, tobacco and tea leaf notes continue with that sweet raisin balancing them out nicely.
This stick never makes it much stronger than a medium, and that is great news for everyone looking for a great first cigar of the day, a great cigar to share with their buddies, or something for those times when you know you will be smoking a few sticks back to back. Besides with all the bonus items, these 20 smokes come with, what are you still thinking about, these are a steal!
